Firefly Mobiles; PIN-protected, number-programmed mobile phones, were designed specifically for children that give parents real peace of mind. AMP Visual were asked to re-brand the packaging, media and website for the UK and Irish marketplaces. We wanted to create elegant packaging and promotional material – boxes that would be kept, posters that would be put up on a wall rather than be binned straight after the product was removed.
In busy retail environments, we wished to make materials that were dramatic and that stood out and that had a great visual signature across all material. We strove for a packaging design that would be influential for both the child and their parents; that they would feel satisfied and pleased with their purchase.
We recognized that all elements of the brand marketing were vital, that they must complimentary and be consistent across all packaging, media and the supply chain.
The branding also translated into an interactive website.
