Leopold Hotels is a young, vibrant chain of boutique, 4-star hotels in select locations across the UK and mainland Europe. Each premises in Leopold Hotel’s growing portfolio of luxuriously re-fitted hotels is designed to give discerning guests a truly individual and personal experience.
AMP Visual were asked to come up with a distinctive design scheme that would convey the satisfying warmth of the Leopold Hotel experience, with an identity that conveys the idea of a place where fond memories are created.
Using a warm colour palate throughout, we created an elegant, contemporary and timeless logo family that encompassed the overall hotel group, with distinctive iterations for each individual hotel. This integrated system included 6 initial interpretations, allowing each hotel to express its own personality while retaining recognisable DNA from the group brand.
The resulting design was applied across a wide range of items and media, from traditional print to online: stationery, room keys, pre-launch building wraps, exterior signage, a newsletter, an e-zine, two separate websites and 60 other associated pieces of promotional material.
Through the warmth of the identity, all marketing materials have a relaxing tone, with clean lines, a sense of space and subtle colour shifts. In anticipation of future requirements and applications, AMP Visual provided a thorough, clear easy-to-use ‘Hotel Branding Guidelines’ manual to support Leopold Hotels’ marketing personnel and their suppliers.
